What We Do..

Weekly Corps Training - Star Level Training Program

As part of their regular weekly parade evenings, cadets also participate in a variety of training sessions designed in accordance with the national Cadet Proficiency Program. This is a graduated five level program(Green Star, Red Star, Silver Star, Gold Star & NSCE), each level offering increasingly more advanced topics or adding depth to existing topics. An extensive range of topics is covered, including Citizenship, Leadership, Bushcraft, Map&Compass, Public Speaking, Dril, Physical Fitness, etc.

Additional Support Training

In addition to weekly training, cadets are also offered a variety of optional support activities throughout the year. These activities take place typically on evenings or weekends and are always great opportunities to experience new challenges and enjoy their time together.

Typical support training activities include - weekend camping/field training exercises, range(marksmanship), tours of museums and etc.

Consult the corps Events Calendar for details of upcoming Support Training activities.
